Time is running out for Ben Greenwood – not as an apprentice for the Royal Institute of Magic, but as the Head Guardian, secretly responsible for uniting Queen Elizabeth's Armour.

But that isn't his only challenge – he will soon be forced to make a critical decision involving his closest friends, and even his oldest enemies, that might make or break the entire mission.

This exciting continuation of the adventure to find Elizabeth's Armour. Ben, Charlie, and Natalie along with help from Dagmar, Abigail, and Krobeg track off to find the missing shield. A well written vivid and humorous story of fantasy, dedication, and true friendship leaves readers in suspense for the last installment. Readers young and old will relish this book and has become a topic for discussion between myself and my 15 year old. Love these books!

This book absolutely kept me interested in what will happen in the end. I like the logic that dictates the environment. All too often, magic is just magical and anyone who is or uses magic can do it. There is a purpose and sensibility to the apprentices' training and the obstacles also all seem to make sense. It is a bit frustrating that the final key (the sword) has been kept such a mystery. Although, at the end, perhaps we will see the clues to the answer in retrospect. I am looking forward to finding out.
